Pow wow Productions uses a variety of techniques and methods to empower a diverse group of individuals in obtaining an understanding as to why they feel, think and behave the way they do.

The mission is to create an awareness that empowers individuals to make life-serving choices which will benefit them throughout their lives. The program provides clients (men/women/children) the opportunity to find their own unique answers to questions they never knew to ask about themselves, their past, present, and future. We provide individuals the necessary tools and resources to crate a future founded on conscious, life-affirming choices.

Socialization begins from the day we are born. If an individual is fortunate to get most of his social/emotional needs met by the time he is a young adult then s/he will view life with endless opportunities. However, if an individual experiences forms abandonment, physical, psychological and emotional abuse then s/he views the world as an unpredictable and unsafe place in which to exist and therefore, s/he functions in the world only to survive it. As a result of these social/emotional needs not being met s/he will use survival tactics that have been developed to compensate for the needs s/he never experienced from their caretaker.
Because of our past, we as individuals exist on this planet as “nice dead people.” These are people who are not aware of what their “needs” are; these individuals are not connected to them and they do not know how to express them. Because of this unawareness, we ignore our own needs. We then submit to others or consistently apologize for our behavior that we continue to carry out, no knowing why we continue to do so. Then, we take that last step to deal with all of our troubles. We numb ourselves in a variety of ways so that we do not have to confront our destructive behavior.
My program is to have men/women/children work their way up the ladder of self-development. Each person will be given the necessary tools to empower themselves so they can go through a process of personal transformation into the human being who has established his/her own value in this world.
